Description:


Our client is a manufacturer who offer a range of development, manufacturing and technical services. Located in the rural outskirts of King’s Lynn They are looking for a customer service representative and marketing assistant to join their team. Due to the location candidates must hold a driving licence as this is out of the area of public transport links.


We are looking for candidates with good verbal and written communication skills, who hold the ability to demonstrate a proactive approach while working well in a team, conveying interpersonal skills at all times. You will need to have a keen eye for detail with the ability to multi task and show good organisational skills. The role will involve a variety of duties some of which being:


Customer service:



  • Be the first point of contact for customer orders, queries, and requests

  • Ensure customers details are current and recorded correctly

  • Manage communications with the customer to ensure they are kept informed on the status of their order

  • Process orders and liaise with other internal departments to ascertain delivery timescales

  • Create delivery paperwork and customer invoices

  • File both electronic and hard copy documents

  • Effectively manage price changes as advised by the Sales team

  • Credit control – chase payment (statements, letters, emails, calls) put orders on hold where necessary

  • Support the Sales team with the provision of customer reports / analysis

  • Complete checks on systems and processes to ensure accuracy of transactions


Marketing:



  • Assist in organising marketing events to be held on site – booking suppliers, setting up promotional information and greeting visitors etc

  • Support local marketing drives – Advertising in trade magazines, posting and promoting on social media etc

  • Communicating with customers and external agencies


Experience:



  • Two plus years Customer Services Experience

  • IT literate – excel, word, outlook


Hours:


Full time, 8:30am till 5:00pm


Early finish of 2:30pm on a Friday
