Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced CNC Machinist/Quality inspector to work for a brand new client in Abingdon, Oxfordshire



Role: CNC Machinist/Quality inspector


Salary: £35,000-£40,000 – Dependant on Experience


Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire


Hours: 37hr week, Mon-Thurs 8.00am – 4.30pm Fri 8.00am-1.00pm



Key Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist/Quality inspector:



  • In-Process inspection (During Manufacture)

  • Use of Programmable and Manual CMM inspection

  • Upkeep, Maintenance and calibration of Metrology gauges and equipment to ISO 9001

  • Overseeing goods in/out inspection

  • Raising and investigating NCRs with implementation of corrective/preventive measures

  • Presentation of KPI statistics for monthly review

  • Maintenance of ISO 9001 accreditation as it relates to the Production and inspection.


About you:



  • Ideally you will be an experienced CNC Machinist/programmer with an ‘Inspection’ background.

  • You will be able to demonstrate and pass on your skills and experience of quality inspection.

  • You will be fully familiar with and have experience of working within an ISO 9001 environment.

  • You will be able to work well in a team environment

  • Reporting to the Managing Director you will be supporting the production team striving for 100% quality.

  • Must have own transport due to rural location in Abingdon
