Berry Recruitment are currently seeking a cleaner for our client in the Stevenage area. Only candidates with a DBS clearance will be considered.

Role Overview:

You will be responsible for ensuring our client’s facilities remain clean and hygienic.

Pay rate: £11.44 per hour

Hours: Monday - Friday (4pm-9pm)

Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust areas.


• Clean and sanitise toilets, restocking supplies as needed.


• Empty bins and dispose of rubbish and recycling.


• Disinfect high-touch surfaces like door handles and light switches.


• Maintain and report any issues with cleaning equipment.


• Follow health and safety guidelines for cleaning chemicals.


• Respond to specific cleaning requests or emergencies.


• Monitor and report stock levels of cleaning supplies.

Requirements:

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.


• Knowledge of cleaning products and their safe use.


• Ability to work independently and manage time well.


• Attention to detail and high cleaning standards.


• Good physical fitness for cleaning tasks.


• Reliable and punctual.
