Job Title: Class 2 Commercial Waste Driver

Location: Exeter

Job Type: Temporary (6 weeks max)

Salary: £15.50 per hour

Hours 6am to 4pm Monday to Friday with Saturday rotation

About Us: My client is a leading provider of waste management solutions, committed to sustainability and excellent customer service. We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Class 2 Commercial Waste Driver to join our dynamic team.

Job Description: As a Class 2 Commercial Waste Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection, transportation, and disposal of commercial waste. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and environmental standards of our community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Class 2 vehicles to collect and transport commercial waste.


• Ensure all waste is collected in a timely and efficient manner.


• Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations.


• Perform daily vehicle checks and report any issues.


• Provide excellent customer service to clients.


• Maintain accurate records of waste collected and disposed of.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 driving licence with current CPC and Tacho/Driver card.


• Previous experience in waste management or a similar role is preferred.


• Strong understanding of safety and environmental regulations.


• Excellent driving record (no more than 6 points)


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Good communication and customer service skills.


• Physically fit and able to handle the demands of the job.
