Bus Engineer/Mechanic – Darlington Depot

An excellent and rewarding opportunity has arisen for an experienced PSV Engineer/Mechanic to join our team at the Darlington Depot. This is a fantastic chance to work with one of the largest transport organisations in Europe, offering great career growth and development opportunities.

• Shift Pattern: 5 shifts over 7 days, Sunday to Saturday (shift work includes earlies, lates, and weekends)


• Pay Rate: £16.82 - £33.66 per hour (inclusive OT Rate)

Key Duties:

• Servicing and repairs of PCV vehicles to high standards


• Ensuring vehicles meet company and DVSA standards


• Continuous improvement of vehicle reliability


• MOT preparation and vehicle fault diagnosis

Requirements:

• Knowledge of PSV/HGV maintenance with recognised qualifications (e.g. Level 3 NVQ) - ESSENTIAL


• Ability to work safely and unsupervised


• Electrical knowledge (desirable, not essential)


• PCV license (desirable, not essential)


• IRTEC accreditation for vehicle inspection (training provided)
