Berry Recruitment are working with a trusted client to assist them in finding an Assistant HR Officer based on the outskirts of Exeter.


As an Assistant HR Officer your main purpose will be to support the payroll and pension teams with the delivery of time-critical pensions related project work and to build greater resilience within the payroll function, to ensure that the monthly payroll continues to be accurately implemented On Time and In Full. Your main duties will include:



  • Maintaining and updating essential spreadsheets

  • Inputting of personal and payroll data

  • Support with the resolution of payroll and pension queries

  • Maintain accurate audit trails.

  • Payroll analysis and reconciliation


To be considered for this Assistant HR Officer position you will need the following skills and attributes:



  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

  • An aptitude for figure work and data analysis

  • Proven ability to work to tight deadlines.

  • Good planning, organisational and time management

  • Good ICT Skills

  • Experience of understanding/inputting payroll


The position of Assistant HR Officer is currently a temporary position with no fixed end date and our client will require someone asap. The rate of pay is circa £13 p/h. Due to the location of this position, on the outskirts of Exeter, it is expected that you will have your own transport.
