My Client is now looking to bring a new member to the team supporting there Admin and Reception 3 days will be in HR and 2 days covering reception. My client is a well established company within the construction industry.

Monday to Friday: 8:30 to 5:30

Salary: £21,000 DOE

In order to be considered for the position you will be required to complete a short exercises on pivot tables so that the client can get a good understanding of the level of Excel skills you have.

Responsible for:

Reception, switchboard duties, administrative support to the HR Department.

Reception duties include but not limited to:

  • Reception cover

  • Answering incoming calls to the switchboard, redirecting callers to relevant group staff and filtering calls as required

  • Greeting visitors and issuing security passes

  • Opening, distributing and preparing mail for dispatch, to include recorded, special delivery and international documents

  • Ensuring reception area is kept clean and tidy

  • Circulating trade journals and other magazines

  • Organising courier services

  • Keeping Staff Attendance Records and ensuring they are sent weekly to HR

  • Ensuring the master server tapes are backed up on daily basis and removed from site/stored in a fire proof safe

  • Arranging catering for meetings/presentations as requested by the event organiser

  • Complying with company policies and procedures

  • Any other duties as reasonably required

Administrative duties include but not limited to:

  • Issuing employment packs and other personnel correspondence

  • Monitor, update and maintain company driver assessment details and checks

  • Issue Driver Risk Assessment Login details

  • Produce quarterly driver reports for management

  • Maintain HR archiving system

  • Filing, scanning, photocopying and faxing

  • Update staff records

  • Ensuring professionalism and quality is maintained throughout all activities

  • Any other duties as reasonably required
