We’re looking for an experienced Semi-Senior Outsourcing Assistant to support exciting growth for our client who is an Accountancy and Advisory firm based in Oxford.



Role: Semi-Senior Outsourcing Assistant


Hours: Monday – Friday – 08:30 – 17:00


Salary: £20,000 - £25, 000 Per Annum


Full benefits package available upon scheduled call.



You will be responsible for the preparation of management accounts and VAT returns for a portfolio of clients.



You will be responsible for approximately 20-30 micro/small clients on a mixture of weekly/monthly/quarterly basis, and will include sole traders, partnerships, charities, and small limited companies.



About the Semi-Senior Outsourcing Assistant role:



  • Completion of VAT returns

  • Preparation of management accounts, including maintenance of sales, purchase and nominal ledgers as required.

  • Taking responsibility for ensuring clients and HMRC deadlines are met by managing your own and your clients’ time effectively.

  • Raising draft invoices for director/partner approval

  • Assisting with the implementation of procedures for new assignments

  • Reviewing input from junior members of the team, where this forms part of your own assignment


About You:



  • Previous experience of working in practice

  • AAT qualified or first tier ACCA qualification.

  • Able to use Xero, Sage 50 Accounts, QuickBooks and Excel
